Industry information

Bactericidal preservative is a new type of environmental protection broad-spectrum bactericidal preservative, especially suitable for high-temperature environment and alkaline system. It is widely used in the bactericidal and anti-corrosion of water-based and oil-based systems such as coatings, adhesives and polymer synthetic lotion. The main effective component is 1-2 benzoisothiazoline-3-one (bit). It is a new generation of important environmental protection industrial bactericidal preservative.

Performance characteristics of sterilization and preservative:

  1. With broad spectrum, it can effectively kill a variety of bacteria, fungi, molds, yeasts, anaerobic bacteria, Pseudomonas, Legionella, hydrogen sulfide producing bacteria, rust bacteria, bacillus and other bacteria, kill plankton and algae, have broad-spectrum and long-term sterilization and mildew prevention effect, do not produce drug resistance, and achieve good bacteriostatic effect at the concentration of 0.1%.

  2. It has good compatibility with various emulsifiers, surfactants and other components, can be dissolved in alcohol and water in any proportion, and is stable to amine compounds.

  3. The applicable pH range is wider than that of similar products, and ph2-14 can be used.

  4. Strong stability: there is no change when stored at - 2 ℃ to 50 ℃ for one year, and the active ingredients are also stable at 150 ℃.

  5. No formaldehyde, low odor, no VOC, low toxicity, no heavy metals and halogen compounds.

Scope of application of sterilization and preservative:

Widely used in coatings, water-based polymers, metal cutting fluids, adhesives, inks and other industries.

In water-based systems such as coatings, adhesives and polymer synthetic lotion, the general use concentration is 0.1-0.4% (w/w), which depends on whether the product is vulnerable to microbial erosion and the storage environment of the product.
